I build marketing engines for complex products.

I spent more than a decade as editor-in-chief across magazines and trade media — most notably as Editorial and Research Director at Working Mother Media, where I founded the Working Mother Research Institute, published more than fifteen workplace equity reports, led five Best Company benchmarking initiatives for Fortune 500 companies, and shaped the content and messaging for The White House Summit on Working Families under the Obama Administration. I later led the U.S. business for Mamamia, the Australian women's media network, driving a 330 percent increase in traffic in six months.

I started my career as a reporter, covering education, business and policy. Newsrooms taught me a lesson I carry into every marketing engagement since: an audience will trust you only as long as you say something true.

After magazines, I moved into marketing through the editorial side — first as SVP Digital Strategy at HealthyWomen, then as the first content marketing lead at Firstly (fintech for the Sandwich Generation), then as the first-ever sustainability content lead at Meta, where I built the thought-leadership function from scratch across 40+ cross-functional partners, launched Meta Sustainability on Instagram, and ran the highest-performing sponsored series in Triple Pundit's history.

From there, I led the full brand pivot at Flowcarbon (a16z-backed) from a crypto-associated tokenizer to a credible climate finance brand — part of the work behind their TIME America's Top GreenTech recognition. More recently, I was Senior Director of Marketing at Ceezer, the first marketing hire, where I contributed to back-to-back record sales months.

Today, I run Jennwork, a boutique B2B marketing consultancy serving mission-driven and complex-product companies. I also co-host and produce Engaging ESG, a biweekly podcast that has featured communications leaders at Unity Technologies, UN Global Compact Network USA, Futerra and beyond.

I'm also open to senior marketing leadership roles at mission-driven organizations in sustainability, climate, social impact or technology — where marketing connects to revenue and I can build something durable.

A NOTE ON AI

AI can accelerate execution. But building the engine, aligning the teams, and earning market trust still requires human leadership at the center. I'm MIT-certified in Sustainable AI. I use AI every day, but I don't market with AI alone.
